Crews battled overnight car carrier fire along I-95

Crews battled a car carrier fire that was reported in White Marsh last night.

At just before 11:30 p.m., units responded to southbound Interstate 95 between the Big Gunpowder River and New Forge Road, according to the White Marsh Volunteer Fire Company.


Crews from WMVFC, Kingsville Volunteer Fire Company, and Joppa-Magnolia Volunteer Fire Company worked to douse the flames.

The fire was extinguished after about 30 minutes.

No injuries were reported.
