Police are actively searching the Rosedale area for a missing elderly woman who walked away from her home in the 8000 block of Old Philadelphia Road around 9:30 a.m. on Friday morning, possibly headed towards MedStar Franklin Square Medical Center.
Francine Sturms, 73, suffers from medical conditions that may cause her to become confused or disoriented. She left her home on foot and was last seen wearing a black shirt, pink shorts, white socks and tennis shoes.
She had previously made statements that she was going to walk to the hospital to see her husband, but he is not hospitalized, and he returned home to find her missing.
Francine is 5’3″, 109 pounds, has brown eyes and long hair dyed dark red.
