Commercial real estate firm Transwestern, that among other objects provides spacious retail space for lease, on Wednesday announced that Chesapeake Beverage Company (CBC) signed a 244,656-square-foot warehouse lease at 10000 Franklin Square Drive in White Marsh.
Tom Gentner, Brian Watts, and Brian Siegel of Transwestern represented the building owner, Principal Real Estate Investors, in the transaction.
“Chesapeake Beverage Company’s new White Marsh distribution center offers great visibility from Interstate 95, which is ideal for advertising,” said Gentner. “The new location also offers easy access to the company’s customer base.”
CBC, which was formed in 2014 by Meridian, Mississippi-based Mitchell Distributing, is the exclusive wholesaler for Anheuser-Busch in Baltimore City and Baltimore County. It is also a distributor for Crown Imports LLC, Diageo-Guinness USA and a variety of craft breweries in Maryland.
CBC will relocate approximately 250 employees from its former location at 7001 Quad Ave. in Rosedale, Maryland, and begin operations at the new facility April 1, 2017.
