Crews were responding to a water main break in Rosedale on Sunday afternoon that is sure to affect local residents as well as traffic. 

The break occurred at around 2 p.m. in the 7900 block of Shirley Avenue. 

Officials are closing that road in the immediate vicinity. 

There is no estimate on when repairs will be completed. 

Motorists should avoid the area.
