Emergency personnel responded to an accident at a busy White Marsh intersection on Friday evening.

At just before 7 p.m., the White Marsh Volunteer Fire Company responded to the intersection of Philadelphia Road and New Forge Road for a report of a crash.

At the scene, responders found that multiple vehicles had been involved in a crash.  There were injuries reported, although the extent is unknown.

Motorists should avoid the area, if possible

There have been numerous accidents at this intersection in recent months.  In March, officials announced that a traffic light would soon be installed at the troublesome intersection.
