JOPPA, MD—Crews are on the scene of a Friday morning fire in Joppa. At around 8:30 a.m., a transformer caught fire along Philadelphia Road in the Joppa area. Route 7 is shut down between Clayton Road and Route 152. There has been no word on any injuries. Motorists should use an alternate route.
