Police are responding to the scene of a Wednesday afternoon shooting near Parkville. At about 1 p.m., units responded to the area of McClean Boulevard at Perring Manor Road in the Hillendale area (21234). At the scene, paramedics found that one person had been shot. There has been no word on the victim’s condition.

A Saturday morning water main break is affecting some areas of Parkville. At about 9:30 a.m., the Department of Public Works reported that a main had ruptured in the 3000 block of Putty Hill Avenue (21234). Approximately 40 residents and one fire hydrant are currently without water service. There has been no ETA as to when repairs would be completed.
