Harford Road shut down in Glen Arm

GLEN ARM, MD—Harford Road has been shut down in the Glen Arm area. At just after before 6:45 a.m. on Wednesday, the State Highway Administration reported that Harford Road was shut down at Notchcliff Road for emergency utility work. There has been no word on when the road will be reopened. Motorists should use an alternate route.

Shed fire reported in Glen Arm

GLEN ARM, MD—Crews are on the scene of a Wednesday morning fire in Glen Arm. The fire was reported at just after 11 a.m. in the 11400-block of Notchcliff Road (21057). Arriving units found a shed fully engulfed in flames. Crews are pulling water from a nearby pond to douse the blaze. Motorists should use caution in the area.

Barricade situation unfolding near Parkville

UPDATE 2: The suspect has been identified as Charles J. Muchanic (pictured), 43, of Gladstone, VA. He has been charged with one count of trespassing. Muchanic was released from the Baltimore County Detention Center on $7,500 bond.
