Pedestrian struck in Essex

Crews are on the scene of a Saturday night crash involving a pedestrian. At just before 8:30 p.m., paramedics responded to the 100 block of Back River Neck Road (21221). Traffic is currently being redirected to Homberg Avenue. There has been no update on the victim’s condition. Motorists should use caution in the area.

Double stabbing reported in Essex

Police are on the scene of a double stabbing that took place on Wednesday night in Essex. At about 8 p.m., authorities responded to the 300 block of Homberg Avenue. At the scene, paramedics found two victims who required medical attention. Police have one male suspect in custody. There has been no update on the victims’ conditions.
