Overnight house fire reported in Essex

ESSEX, MD—Crews responded to a house fire in Essex overnight. The fire was reported at around 2:30 a.m. on Wednesday in the 1400-block of Galena Road (21221). A total of three residents were rescued from the dwelling. It took firefighters about 30 minutes to get the blaze under control. There has been no word as to what caused the fire.
