House fire reported in Joppa

JOPPA, MD—Crews are on the scene of a house fire in Joppa. The fire was reported at just after 7 p.m. on Saturday in the 3400-block of Dorothy Avenue. The structure was engulfed in flames upon arrival and found to be abandoned, according to the Joppa-Magnolia Volunteer Fire Company. No injuries have been reported. Photos via T. Spurell & JMVFC

Crews battle brush fire in Joppa

JOPPA, MD—Crews battled a brush fire in Joppa on Friday evening. The fire was reported on February 16 in the 2400-block of Taylor Brook Lane. Units from Joppa-Magnolia Volunteer Fire Company, Kingsville Volunteer Fire Company, and Fallston Volunteer Fire Company were able to contain the blaze before it could extend to any homes.
