ESSEX, MD—Crews are on the scene of a late-night fire in Essex. The fire was reported at around 12:45 a.m. in the 1600-block of Hopewell Avenue (21221). At the scene, units found smoke showing from a single story daycare center. There has been no word on any injuries. Motorists should use caution in the area.
