BALTIMORE, MD—A Maryland Lottery player in Lanham is celebrating a life-changing win after hitting the $1.9 million jackpot in the state’s in-state only game, Multi-Match, making it the largest prize awarded in the past week.
The big win was part of more than $28.5 million in prizes paid out by the Maryland Lottery from September 15-21. During that period, 32 tickets worth $10,000 or more were sold or redeemed across all games.
In addition to the Multi-Match jackpot, a $200,000 winning scratch-off ticket was sold in Baltimore.
Maryland Lottery officials remind winners to sign the back of their tickets and store them in a secure place. Winning tickets for draw games must be redeemed within 182 days of the drawing date. FAST PLAY tickets expire 182 days after purchase, while the last day to claim scratch-off prizes can be found on the Maryland Lottery website.
More information on how to claim prizes is available on the Maryland Lottery website.
