NOTTINGHAM, MD—Police are investigating a string of robberies, assaults and burglaries that took place across the county’s eastern and northeastern areas between Sept. 4 and Sept. 7, according to the department’s crime blotter.
Police responded to two robberies in the Essex area on Sept. 4. One occurred at approximately 9:30 p.m. in the 200 block of Back River Neck Road, where multiple suspects with a weapon robbed a victim. Also, at approximately 11:30 p.m., an unknown suspect burglarized a home and stole various items in the 900 block of Martin Road.
On Sept. 5, three incidents were reported in the Parkville, Hillendale, and Carney areas. At around 9:30 a.m., multiple suspects robbed a victim with a weapon in the 8700 block of Loch Bend Drive in Parkville. An hour later, an unknown suspect threatened a victim with a weapon in the unit block of Cloister Road and Wentworth Avenue in Hillendale. At 11 p.m., multiple suspects burglarized a home and stole items from the 2600 block of Matthews Drive in Carney.
On Sept. 6, police responded to a robbery in the Hillendale area. At approximately 3:30 a.m., an unknown suspect robbed a victim of various property near Wycombe Way and Deanwood Road.
The crime blotter also reported two more incidents on Sept. 7 in the Parkville and Hillendale areas. A suspect threatened a victim with a weapon at Cloister Road and Polaris Court in Hillendale at 8 p.m. and was arrested. At approximately 10 p.m., multiple suspects with a weapon robbed a victim of property in the 1800 block of Taylor Avenue in Parkville.
No additional information on the victims or suspects was immediately available. The Baltimore County Police Department did not provide further details on the ongoing investigations.
