ESSEX, MD—The Baltimore County Department of Recreation and Parks is hosting a free Waterfront Festival on Saturday, Sept. 27, at Rocky Point Park and Beach in Essex.
The festival, which runs from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., will celebrate the county’s waterfront history and culture. The event will feature live music, food trucks, kayaking and other games and activities.
Rocky Point Park and Beach is located at 2200 Rocky Point Road. While admission is free, the department encourages attendees to register in advance at https://wwwbaltimorecountymd.gov/waterfront. Registration is not required for entry.
The Baltimore County Department of Recreation and Parks has also made special accommodations available upon request. Those needing an American Sign Language interpreter, large print materials or other assistance should contact the recreation office at 410-887-3871.
