TOWSON, MD—Baltimore County Public Library is bringing back Sunday hours at seven of its branches, beginning Sept. 7, the library announced this week.
The branches will be open from 1 to 5 p.m. on Sundays through the weekend before Memorial Day. The locations were chosen based on pre-pandemic usage, space, and access to resources like computers.

- Cockeysville
- North Point
- Owings Mills
- Perry Hall
- Pikesville
- Towson
Core services will be available during these hours, including access to physical collections, computers, and meeting and study rooms. The library will also host select programs on Sundays, but services such as notary, passport appointments, and My Librarian will not be available.
To mark the return of Sunday service, the library will host a live music series at the seven branches throughout September and October. All performances will take place from 2 to 3 p.m.
The schedule includes:

The library is also promoting September as Library Card Sign-Up Month, encouraging residents to sign up for a new card or renew an expiring one to gain access to a variety of free digital and physical resources.
