NOTTINGHAM, MD—The Baltimore County Police Department is investigating a series of robberies, assaults, and burglaries that occurred in the northeast part of the county in late August.
According to the department’s crime blotter, authorities are investigating two separate robberies and two burglaries, and are also investigating two separate assaults and an arrest has been made in one of the cases.
On Aug. 31 at approximately 6 p.m., police responded to the unit block of Barnwell Court in Parkville for a report of a robbery by multiple unknown suspects who stole property from a victim.
On Aug. 29 at approximately 11:30 p.m., police investigated a second robbery at Bayner and Sandalwood Roads in Essex where multiple unknown suspects stole property from a victim before fleeing.
Police are also investigating two burglaries in the area. On Aug. 26 at approximately 2 p.m., a suspect stole various items after burglarizing a home in the 800 block of Brunswick Road in Essex. On Aug. 29 at approximately 1:30 p.m., an unknown suspect burglarized a location in the 500 block of S. Marlyn Ave. in Essex and stole various items.
The blotter also highlights two assault incidents. An assault was reported on Aug. 25 at approximately 12 a.m. in the 8100 block of Honeygo Boulevard in Nottingham, where an unknown suspect assaulted a victim. A second assault was reported on Aug. 26 at approximately 3:30 p.m. in the 900 block of N. Marlyn Ave. in Essex, where a suspect assaulted a victim with a weapon before fleeing. The suspect was later arrested.
