UPDATE: Once on scene, officers located an adult female suffering from apparent trauma; she was pronounced dead at the scene. An adult male, who sustained an apparent gunshot wound to the upper body, was also located at the scene. He was transported to an area hospital in critical condition. Detectives believe this is an isolated incident and there is no threat to the community.

PARKVILLE, MD—Police are on the scene of a homicide in the Parkville area.
At approximately 10:45 a.m. on Tuesday, September 2, the Baltimore County Police Department responded to the 9200-block of Avondale Road (21234).
One adult has been pronounced dead.
Authorities say this appears to be an isolated incident and there is no threat to the community.
