NOTTINGHAM, MD—Police are investigating a series of first-degree assault and burglary incidents that occurred in northeast Baltimore County over a five-day period, according to a department crime blotter.
The incidents, spanning from Aug. 20 to Aug. 24, resulted in at least two arrests.
On Aug. 24, an unknown suspect burglarized a residence in the 9900 block of Berliner Place in Middle River (21220) at about 5:30 p.m. and stole property.
The previous day, Aug. 23, police responded to three first-degree assault calls and one burglary:
- Moline Circle, Essex (21221): At 10 p.m., a known suspect assaulted a victim with a weapon in the unit block of Moline Circle.
- Punjab Drive, Essex (21221): A known suspect was arrested after assaulting a victim in the 1200 block of Punjab Drive at 8 p.m.
- Handworth Way, Nottingham (21236): A suspect was arrested after threatening a victim with a weapon in the unit block of Handworth Way at 3 p.m.
- Rockingham Court, Carney (21234): An unknown suspect burglarized a residence in the unit block of Rockingham Court around noon before fleeing.
On Aug. 22, a known suspect assaulted a victim in the 1300 block of Dartmouth Avenue in Hillendale (21234) at about 5:30 p.m.
The recent incidents follow a first-degree burglary on Aug. 20, when a suspect was arrested after burglarizing a home in the 8000 block of Woodhaven Road in Rosedale (21237) at 6:30 a.m.
