BALTIMORE, MD—The Baltimore Orioles will open their 2026 regular season at home against the Minnesota Twins on Thursday, March 26, the team announced in its newly released schedule.
The season opener will mark the beginning of a six-game homestand at Oriole Park at Camden Yards, which includes two more games against the Twins and a three-game series against the Texas Rangers. The team will then embark on its first road trip of the season, heading to Pittsburgh for the Pirates’ Home Opener on April 3.
Schedule Highlights
Divisional Matchups
The Orioles will play 13 games against each of their American League East rivals, split evenly with seven at home and six on the road against the Boston Red Sox and Toronto Blue Jays, and six at home and seven on the road against the Tampa Bay Rays and New York Yankees. The O’s won’t begin divisional play until a home series against the Red Sox from April 24-26. A season-high 13 consecutive games against division rivals are scheduled from May 25 to June 7. Twelve of the team’s final 22 games will be within the division.
Interleague Play and Beltway Series
Baltimore will host eight National League teams at home in 2026, including the San Francisco Giants, Arizona Diamondbacks, San Diego Padres, Chicago Cubs, Atlanta Braves, Philadelphia Phillies, and Milwaukee Brewers. The Orioles will also face the Washington Nationals in the “Battle of the Beltways” series, with three road games from May 15-17 and three home games from June 26-28.
Road Trips
The 2026 schedule includes three three-city road trips, a change from 2025 which had none. The longest trip is a 10-game, 11-day stretch from August 7-17, when the team visits Texas, Minnesota, and Tampa Bay. The O’s will also have a nine-game road trip in June, playing against the Seattle Mariners and both Los Angeles clubs. The team will finish the regular season on the road against the Yankees from September 25-27.
Special Dates
The Orioles will host three holiday games at Camden Yards: Mother’s Day on May 10 against the Oakland Athletics, Memorial Day on May 25 against the Tampa Bay Rays, and Labor Day on September 7 against the Cleveland Guardians.
