NOTTINGHAM, MD—Multiple burglaries, including two at the same location, have been reported in Baltimore County between August 15 and August 19.
The Incidents
- Second-Degree Burglary: Two separate second-degree burglaries occurred on August 15 and August 17 at the 11500 block of Philadelphia Road in White Marsh. Both incidents, which happened at approximately 1 p.m. and 1 a.m. respectively, involved an unknown suspect stealing property. A third second-degree burglary took place on August 17 at the 6800 block of Fordcrest Road in Rosedale, where an unknown suspect stole various items around 10 p.m. In Maryland, second-degree burglary generally refers to the breaking and entering of a storehouse or commercial building with the intent to commit a crime like theft.
- First-Degree Burglary: Two first-degree burglaries were also reported. On August 15, multiple unknown suspects stole property from the 3400 block of Glenside Drive in Parkville at around 10 p.m. A second first-degree burglary happened on August 19 at the 3900 block of Misty View Road in Middle River, where an unknown suspect stole various items at approximately 3 p.m. First-degree burglary in Maryland is defined as the breaking and entering of a person’s dwelling with the intent to commit theft or a crime of violence.
The Baltimore County Police Department did not provide further details on the investigations, and as of now, no arrests have been announced.
