AUGUST 13 POLICE BLOTTER: Several burglaries & assaults reported in northeast Baltimore County

NOTTINGHAM, MD—Baltimore County Police are investigating a series of burglaries and assaults that occurred in the eastern and northeastern parts of the county over the past week.

The incidents include:

  • First-Degree Burglary: An unknown suspect burglarized a residence in the 5300 block of Castle Stone Drive in Rosedale at approximately 5:30 p.m. on Aug. 9.
  • Second-Degree Burglaries: An unknown suspect broke into a location in the 8900 block of Audrey Avenue in Parkville at approximately 2:30 a.m. on Aug. 7. In a separate incident, a group of suspects burglarized a location in the 9200 block of Harford Road in Parkville at approximately 1 a.m. on Aug. 12 before fleeing the scene.
  • First-Degree Assaults: Police are investigating three separate first-degree assaults. On Aug. 8, at approximately 10:30 p.m., a known suspect threatened a victim with a weapon in the 1900 block of Newhaven Drive in Essex. In another incident, a known suspect assaulted a victim at approximately 12:30 a.m. on Aug. 9 in the 1200 block of Sugarwood Circle, also in Essex. A third assault occurred at approximately 6 p.m. on Aug. 10 in the 1400 block of Hadwick Drive, where a known suspect assaulted a victim.

Authorities have not yet released any additional details about the ongoing investigations. Anyone with information is asked to contact the Baltimore County Police Department.
