NOTTINGHAM, MD—Wawa is set to open its newest store in Nottingham on Thursday, bringing with it a day of festivities, free coffee, and a special breakfast deal.
The new store, located at 8100 Belair Road (21236), will officially open its doors at 8 a.m. on Thursday, August 14th. The first 100 customers will receive a free t-shirt, and all customers can enjoy any size hot coffee for free through August 17th.
Festivities will kick off with a countdown to the store’s opening at 7:45 a.m., led by Wawa General Manager Michael Elliott. A ribbon-cutting ceremony and “Hoagies for Heroes” competition between local first responders will follow at 8:30 a.m.
As part of the grand opening, Wawa will reintroduce its $5 Big Breakfast Deal, which includes a Sizzli breakfast sandwich, any size hot or iced coffee, and a hash brown. The deal will be highlighted in a parade featuring Wawa associates, also known as “Craving Tamers.”
The event will also include local officials, Wawa Director of Store Operations Amanda Wynne, Wawa Area Manager Steven Gobeil, and the company’s mascot, Wally Goose.
