BALTIMORE, MD—While no one hit the Powerball jackpot in the last drawing, two Maryland players won big prizes, and the grand prize has now soared to an estimated $501 million for Monday night’s drawing. A ticket sold in Oxon Hill is worth $100,000, and another in Baltimore is worth $50,000.
The next drawing is Monday night, and the cash option for the jackpot is an estimated $229.5 million.
Other big winners across the state were also announced. A $250,000 scratch-off ticket was sold in Woodstock, and a $184,769 FAST PLAY ticket was purchased in Laurel. Four separate Pick 5 tickets, collectively worth $200,000, were sold in Loveville and a $25,000 Pick 5 ticket was sold in Overlea. An unclaimed $24,474 RACETRAX ticket was sold in Edgewood.
The Maryland Lottery paid out more than $29.7 million in prizes last week, with 34 tickets worth $10,000 or more. Winners are reminded to sign the back of their tickets and store them in a secure place.
