TOWSON, MD—The Baltimore County Department of Planning is seeking final public feedback on Small Area Plan 11 (SAP 11) with a series of community meetings scheduled throughout September. The department is entering the final phase of its engagement efforts for the plan, which will help guide future development in the area.
Officials will present updates and gather input at five identical meetings. Residents are encouraged to attend the date and location most convenient for them to help prioritize the plan’s final recommendations.
The meeting schedule is as follows:
- Wednesday, Sept. 3 at 7 p.m.: Essex-Middle River Civic Council at the Victory Villa Community Center, 404 Compass Rd E, Middle River.
- Thursday, Sept. 4 at 7 p.m.: Bowleys Quarters Community Association at 1124 Bowleys Quarters Rd, Middle River.
- Tuesday, Sept. 9 at 7 p.m.: South Perry Hall Blvd Improvement Association at the Boumi Shriners, 5050 King Ave, Rosedale.
- Wednesday, Sept. 10 at 7 p.m.: Chesapeake Gateway Chamber of Commerce at Potomac Pizza, 750 Concourse Circle, Middle River.
- Thursday, Sept. 11 at 7 p.m.: Perry Hall Improvement Association at Brightview Senior Living, 9657 Belair Rd, Nottingham.
Flyers for the meetings, in both English and Spanish, have been distributed. The department encourages residents to share the information with their neighbors.
