ESSEX, MD—The Essex Community Development Corporation, in partnership with the Baltimore County Department of Recreation and Parks, will host a free outdoor movie night on Friday, Aug. 15, at the Mars Estates Rec Activity Center.
The event, which will be the organization’s only movie night this summer, will feature a screening of the “Minecraft” movie.
Activities will begin at 6 p.m. with lawn games and free pizza, which will be available in a limited supply. The movie is scheduled to start at 7 p.m.
Attendees are encouraged to bring their own lawn chairs or blankets for seating, along with any additional snacks or non-alcoholic beverages. The event is open to all ages and is an opportunity for residents to gather for a community movie night.
The Mars Estates Rec Activity Center is located at 1498 East Homberg Ave.
