BALTIMORE, MD—A former youth pastor at a Baltimore County church has been arrested and charged with multiple sex offenses stemming from abuse that allegedly occurred more than a decade ago.
Thomas Pinkerton, 52, who now lives in Georgia, was extradited to Maryland on Wednesday and is being held without bond at the Baltimore County Detention Center, according to a press release from the Baltimore County Police Department.
The charges against Pinkerton stem from abuse that is suspected to have occurred between 2006 and 2010 while he was working at Central Christian Church on Rossville Boulevard in Rosedale. Police believe the abuse took place both at the church and at Pinkerton’s home in Baltimore County.
Detectives with the department’s Crimes Against Children Unit believe there may be additional victims who have not yet come forward. Anyone with information is urged to contact the unit at 410-887-7720.
