TOWSON, MD—The Baltimore County Police Department is inviting members of the public to attend upcoming community input meetings regarding the proposed Drone as First Responder (DFR) program.
This initiative, which is designed to complement the Department’s existing Aviation Team, aims to enhance public safety and emergency response capabilities through the strategic deployment of unmanned aerial systems (UAS).
As part of the Department’s ongoing commitment to transparency and community collaboration, attendees will be able to see the technology up close, with live demonstrations.
Representatives from the Department will be on hand to answer questions, explain operational procedures, and gather community input.
