Men from Middle River, Baltimore arrested on I-695 with loaded firearms

BALTIMORE, MD—Maryland State Police arrested three men and recovered two loaded handguns during a traffic stop in Baltimore County on Saturday night, officials announced Monday.

Brandon Darrell Thomas Jr., 20, and Keshon Terrance Greene, 18, both of Middle River, along with De’Sean Devontay Thornton, 19, of Baltimore, were arrested following the stop on the outer loop of I-695. All three are charged with multiple offenses, including possession of a loaded handgun, possession of a firearm as a minor, and drug-related charges.

The traffic stop, conducted by a trooper from the Golden Ring Barrack shortly after 11 p.m. on Saturday, was initiated for a violation of the “Move Over” law and a non-functioning headlight. According to police, the trooper observed “multiple criminal indicators” that led to a search of the vehicle.

During the search, troopers recovered two loaded handguns. A preliminary investigation revealed one of the firearms was reported lost in Baltimore County in 2024, and the second had no record in the state.

All three suspects are prohibited from possessing a firearm due to their age and are being held without bond at the Baltimore County Detention Center. The investigation is active and ongoing.
