BALTIMORE, MD—The National Weather Service has issued a Severe Thunderstorm Watch for central Maryland and the Eastern Shore.
The watch will remain in effect until 8 p.m. on Thursday, July 31st.
Forecasters say any severe storms that develop could contain quarter-sized hail, frequent lightning, and wind gusts of up to 60 mph.
A Flood Watch has been issued for Thursday and a Flash Flood Warning and Severe Thunderstorm Warning are already in effect for some locations.
