BALTIMORE, MD—A Maryland Lottery scratch-off player in Baltimore is now a millionaire, headlining a week where the Maryland Lottery paid out more than $31.1 million in prizes across the state. In total, 23 tickets worth $10,000 or more were sold or redeemed in the seven-day span ending July 28.
Among the top winners, a $1 million scratch-off ticket, Lucky 777, was sold at the 7-Eleven located at 1465 Key Highway in Baltimore.
Two other individuals also claimed significant scratch-off prizes of $100,000 each. One Bingo X10 8th Edition ticket was purchased at Rodman’s Discount Store at 4301 Randolph Road in Silver Spring, while a Mega Bucks ticket was sold at O’Connor’s Liquors and Check Cashing at 4801 Eastern Avenue in Baltimore.
A $50,000 Gold Bar Bingo 6th Edition scratch-off was sold at the Shell station at 1101 Shore Highway in Denton.
Nine scratch-off tickets worth $10,000 each were also claimed, with winning tickets sold in Frederick, Silver Spring, Walkersville, Gaithersburg, Elkton, Parkville, Hollywood, Germantown, and Hanover.
Beyond scratch-offs, several large prizes from FAST PLAY and draw games were also reported. A $50,000 Bonus Match 5 ticket sold on July 23 at an Exxon in Timonium and a $50,000 Pick 5 ticket sold on July 26 at University Market in Baltimore remain unclaimed as of July 28. Other unclaimed prizes include a $32,694 FAST PLAY Slingo progressive jackpot ticket sold in Columbia and a $10,000 FAST PLAY Super 777 ticket sold in Dunkirk.
Winners of prizes exceeding $25,000 are required to redeem their tickets by appointment at the Maryland Lottery Customer Resource Center in Baltimore. Prizes up to $25,000 can be claimed at cashier windows at any of Maryland’s six casinos.
