BALTIMORE, MD—A Dundalk man is celebrating a $100,000 win after hitting the jackpot on a Maryland Lottery Mega Bucks scratch-off ticket. He claimed his prize on Tuesday, July 22, at Maryland Lottery headquarters.
The winning ticket, purchased at O’Conner’s Liquor and Check Cash at 4801 Eastern Avenue in Baltimore City’s Greektown neighborhood, revealed a matching number 6 in the play area, which corresponded to a $100,000 prize. This marks the fourth top-tier prize claimed on the $10 game, which originally launched with nine $100,000 winners.
The happy winner expressed his excitement, stating he was “brimming with excitement” upon realizing he held a top-prize ticket.
The Mega Bucks game, which debuted on November 27, 2024, still has three unclaimed $100,000 top prizes remaining. Additionally, there are three $50,000 second-tier prizes and 14 of the original 32 $10,000 prizes yet to be claimed.
