Baltimore County police arrest man who killed two, drove dead mother to sister’s house in Pennsylvania

TOWSON, MD—A Maryland man who killed two people before driving his deceased mother to Pennsylvania has been arrested and charged.

Baltimore County homicide detectives have charged 31-year-old Kevin Ahn with first-degree murder in the deaths of 83-year-old Sun Lim and 69-year-old Im Kim.

On March 24, 2025, detectives located the victims after responding to the 100-block of Oliver Heights Road in Owings Mills (21117).

Ahn was arrested in Lancaster, Pennsylvania, back in April. Officers with the Northern Lancaster Regional Police said Ahn had driven his dead mother’s body to the home of his estranged sister.

Authorities in Pennsylvania charged him with abuse of a corpse, however, that charge was dropped so that Ahn could be tried in Maryland.

Detectives with the Baltimore County Police Department obtained an arrest warrant for Ahn, which was served on Friday. Ahn remains held at the Baltimore County Detention Center on no bond.

Ahn is accused of murdering his mother’s roommate in Owings Mills and that woman’s ex-husband, before sloppily staging the scene to look like a suicide, attempting to break into his mom’s safe, and then taking off with the man’s wallet and keys, according to WGAL.

At a bail review hearing on Monday, WBAL reports that Ahn remained mostly silent, and refused to participate in hearing.
