MIDDLE RIVER, MD—Police have made an arrest in connection with an altercation that occurred in Bowleys Quarters earlier this week.
Detectives have taken a 16-year-old suspect into custody following an incident that occurred Wednesday night in the 100-block of Carroll Island Road, 21220.
Officers responded to reports of shots fired at around 5:30 p.m. on July 16th. Detectives determined that a firearm was discharged during a physical altercation.
One person, who was being assaulted, sustained minor injuries to the upper body. A second individual had a minor injury to a lower extremity.
The teen suspect, who will be charged as an adult, faces numerous charges, including attempted second-degree murder, first-degree assault, and handgun violations.
