TOWSON, MD—Panda Express is bringing back its popular Hot Orange Chicken nationwide, and one Baltimore-area location is celebrating with a special giveaway. The spicy-sweet dish, which quickly sold out during its 2024 debut, returns to all 2,500-plus Panda Express restaurants on Wednesday, July 9, for a limited time.
The Towson Panda Express, located at 1238 Putty Hill Avenue, will host a “Spice up Sunday” event on July 13. Starting at 5 p.m., the first 100 guests will receive a free Panda Bowl with any purchase.
The event, running until 7 p.m., will also feature prize wheel giveaways, photo opportunities with Pei Pei the Panda mascot, and music.
Hot Orange Chicken is described as a “swicy” (sweet and spicy) take on the chain’s classic Orange Chicken, featuring six times more crushed chilies and the same scorched dried chilies used in its Kung Pao Chicken. The dish was developed by Panda’s Culinary Innovation team.
The free Panda Bowl offer on July 13 is valid only at the Towson location and is limited to one per guest with any purchase, while supplies last.
