BALTIMORE, MD—The National Weather Service has issued a Severe Thunderstorm Watch for central Maryland and the Eastern Shore.
The watch will remain in effect until 9 p.m. on Tuesday, July 8, 2025.
Forecasters say any storms that develop could contain half-inch sized hail, 70 mph wind gusts, and frequent lightning.
A Flood Watch is also in effect for the area.
Residents should remain weather-aware throughout the afternoon and evening hours on Tuesday.
