Former Perry Hall School to officially become protected Baltimore County landmark

PERRY HALL, MD—A piece of Perry Hall history will officially now be preserved.

After more than a year of negotiations and public hearings, the Baltimore County Council has passed Councilman David Marks’ legislation adding the old Perry Hall School as the 400th Baltimore County protected landmark.

This means that the building cannot be demolished. The inside is being renovated for use as an adult care center, according to Councilman Marks.

“Thank you to the Preservation Alliance of Baltimore County, Perry Hall Improvement Association, and the Kraus family – owners of the property – for all their support,” said Councilman Marks.
