66-year-old man arrested following domestic-related homicide in Harford County

ABINGDON, MD—A 66-year-old Abingdon man has been arrested and charged with first-degree murder in connection with the fatal shooting of his wife, the Harford County Sheriff’s Office announced on Tuesday.

David Williams was taken into custody after deputies responded to a shooting report late Monday night in the 2800-block of Bynum Overlook Drive.

Deputies, dispatched around 10:45 p.m. Monday, June 30, 2025, found a 64-year-old woman suffering from a gunshot wound to her upper body. Despite immediate life-saving efforts by deputies, the victim was pronounced deceased at the scene.
