ABERDEEN, MD—Loud noise alert! Aberdeen Proving Ground officials say the base has daytime testing operations scheduled for Monday, June 23 through Friday, June 27, 2025.
Firing tests will occur from approximately 8:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m.
Weapons firing may be heard in some areas off the installation. These operations are not hazardous to residents in the surrounding communities and are integral to ensuring continued readiness of service members.
Organizations on APG take every measure to mitigate instances when training or testing becomes problematic to residents off the installation. To ensure the APG minimizes the impact to neighbors, officials monitor the weather and the noise readings continuously throughout each day.
