BEL AIR, MD—The Harmony Woods Music & Arts Fest will return to Bel Air on Friday, June 20, and Saturday, June 21, 2025, offering two days of live music, local food, craft beverages, and art vendors. The family-friendly event will again be held on the Maryland Center for the Arts (MDCFA) property, located at 2503 S. Tollgate Road.
Building on previous successes, the 2025 festival will take place on the scenic, wooded site that is slated to become the future home of the Maryland Center for the Arts’ community arts center. Proceeds from ticket sales will support the construction of this full-scale regional arts center, which aims to provide a wide range of arts activities and programming for all ages in Harford County and across Maryland.
“We’re proud to bring back the Harmony Woods Music & Arts Fest for its fifth year,” said Jon Kohler, festival chair and owner of Pairings Bistro. “This year’s celebration will be our biggest and best yet, with an incredible lineup of live music, expanded artisan vendors and arts activities, local craft beverages, and outstanding food. We hope to see you there June 20–21 for a weekend of fun, creativity, and community!”
The festival kicks off Friday at 5 p.m. and continues Saturday at noon. The musical lineup includes Scythian, Carl Filipiak and the Jimi Jazz Band, The Plate Scrapers, Wicked Sycamore, Natalie Brooke, Reverend Smackmaster and the Congregation of Funk, and the Talbot Mayo Band, among others.
A band contest was held Sunday, June 8, at Hopkins Farm Brewery, with the winner earning the opportunity to serve as the opening act for Friday night’s festivities. The contest was open to bands performing bluegrass, country, folk, blues, jazz, or Americana music.
Participating breweries will include Hopkins Farm Brewery, Fifth Company Brewing, Independent Brewing, Falling Branch Brewery, and Pickee Brewing Company. Food trucks such as Box Hill Pizzeria & Crabcakes, Village Bistro, and 410 Empanadas are also scheduled to be on site.
Sponsors for this year’s festival include WJZ-TV, 100.7 The Bay, Harford TV, and The Whiting-Turner Contracting Company.
