Code Orange Air Quality Alert issued for Thursday in Baltimore area

BALTIMORE, MD—The Maryland Department of the Environment has issued a Code Orange Air Quality Alert for the Baltimore area.

The alert will be in effect on Thursday, June 12, 2025.

An Air Quality Action Day means that Ground Level Ozone concentrations within the region may approach or exceed unhealthy standards.
