Police identify 55-year-old woman fatally struck by bus in Rosedale

ROSEDALE, MD—Police have identified the woman who died after being struck by a private school bus in Rosedale.

Detectives with the Baltimore County Police Department are investigating the circumstances surrounding the fatal pedestrian crash that occurred on Wednesday, June 4, in the area of Philadelphia and Ridge Road (21237).

At just before 2 p.m., officers responded to the location following reports of a pedestrian crash.

It was later determined that 55-year-old Lisa Hennessey was struck after falling into the roadway as a 2015 International Bus was passing.

Hennessey was pronounced dead at the scene. The investigation is ongoing at this hour.
