MIDDLE RIVER, MD—The Oliver Beach Improvement Association will celebrate the grand reopening of its community hall this month.
The hall sustained heavy damage in a fire back in March 2024. Since then, the community has rallied to support repairs to the hall, including a bull roast fundraiser last summer.
The grand reopening and ribbon-cutting ceremony will take place at 11 a.m. on Saturday, May 31, 2025.
“OBIA President Carol Hart and her team, and Essex Middle River Civic Association President Josh Sines, have spent countless hours on this project,” said Councilman David Marks on Tuesday. “Aided by a grant from Baltimore County, the hall will reopen stronger and better than ever.”
