JOPPA, MD—Crews are on the scene of a house fire in the Joppa area.

The blaze broke out at around 8:15 a.m. on Wednesday, May 14, 2025 in the unit block of Gunpowder Drive (21085).

Two people were rescued from the burning home and are being evaluated by emergency personnel.

There has been no word as to what caused the fire, however the Office of the State Fire Marshal is now responding to the scene.
