BALTIMORE, MD—The National Weather Service has issued a Severe Thunderstorm Watch for Saturday in the Baltimore area.

The Watch will remain in effect until 10 p.m. on Saturday, May 3, 2025.

Forecasters say residents should remain alert for potential storms packing frequent lightning and high winds.

Some areas in northern and western Baltimore County are under a Severe Thunderstorm Warning as of 4:45 p.m.

Residents should stay tuned to local forecasts throughout the day on Saturday.
