BALTIMORE, MD—Forecasters say a soggy, stormy weekend lies ahead for the Baltimore area.
The National Weather Service says Friday afternoon and evening will bring scattered showers and thunderstorms before 8 p.m., then isolated showers between 8 p.m. and 11 p.m. The low will be around 63 degrees with a 30% chance of precipitation.
On Saturday, look for scattered showers, then showers and possibly a thunderstorm after 2 p.m. with a high of around 84 degrees. The chance of precipitation is around 80% with new rainfall amounts between a tenth and quarter of an inch, with higher amounts possible in areas where storms develop.
Saturday night will bring showers and possibly a thunderstorm before 2 a.m., then scattered showers with a low of around 63 degrees and an 80% chance of precipitation.
Sunday calls for showers and possibly a thunderstorm after 2 p.m. with a high of around 75 degrees and an 80% chance of precipitation. On Sunday night, expect showers and possibly a thunderstorm before 2 a.m., then showers likely with a low of around 62 degrees and a 90% chance of precipitation.
