NOTTINGHAM, MD—A Nottingham man will spend the rest of his life behind bars after being sentenced in connection with a 2022 murder case in Harford County.
Anthony Sean Ross, 32, of Nottingham, was sentenced to life in prison without the possibility of parole plus twenty years on Tuesday, April 29, 2025. The Honorable M. Elizabeth Bowen handed down the sentence following Ross’s February 2025 conviction for first-degree murder, conspiracy to commit first-degree murder, and related firearms charges.
The charges stem from the April 2022 shooting death of a 38-year-old Edgewood man. The victim, Angello Osborne, was murdered outside of his home on Reider Court in Edgewood in a hail of 22 bullets, which struck him in the back and ultimately caused his death.
“Life without the possibility of parole is the maximum sentence allowable by law in Maryland and was absolutely appropriate for this senseless killing,” said State’s Attorney Alison M. Healey following the sentencing. “Today closes a very long and grueling chapter for this victim’s family, and I hope they can find some peace knowing the Anthony Ross will never walk the streets of our community again.”
