Edgewood man arrested after accidentally shooting his brother with 3D-printed ‘ghost gun’

EDGEWOOD, MD—Police say a Harford County man has been arrested after accidentally shooting his brother on Tuesday.

At just before 2 p.m. on April 29, 2025, deputies with the Harford County Sheriff’s Office were dispatched to the 600 block of Yorkshire Drive in Edgewood for the report of a shooting. Upon arrival, deputies discovered an 18-year-old male, suffering a gunshot wound to the upper leg. The victim was subsequently transported to a local trauma center for treatment of serious but non-life threatening injuries.

Detectives were able to determine that the victim’s brother, Kylee DeLilly, 18, of Edgewood, accidentally discharged a handgun striking the victim.

Deputies from the HCSO, with the assistance of officers from the Aberdeen Police Department, were able to locate Kylee DeLilly in Aberdeen. He was taken into custody without incident.

During a search of the DeLilly residence, detectives located and seized a 3D-printed handgun, a 50-round magazine, and ammunition. Kylee DeLilly was transported to the Harford County Detention Center and was charged with reckless endangerment and other weapons charges.  He is currently being held without bond.
