BALTIMORE, MD—Crews responded to a house fire in northeast Baltimore overnight.

At around 11:30 p.m. on Saturday, January 11, 2025, personnel from the Baltimore City Fire Department were dispatched to the-3800 block of Ridgecroft Road (21206) for a report of a residential 2-story dwelling fire.

Upon arrival, firefighters found minimal smoke and the fire extinguished.

There was one reported fatality.  The victim has not yet been identified.

The cause of the blaze is currently under investigation.
