BALTIMORE, MD—The National Weather Service has issued a Severe Thunderstorm Watch for the Baltimore area.
The watch will remain in effect until 10 p.m. on Monday, April 15, 2024.
Forecasters say scattered severe thunderstorms are likely on Monday afternoon and evening, mostly to the south of the Baltimore area.
Any storms that do develop will bring large hail and damaging wind gusts of up to 70 MPH, along with lightning strikes.
